Self Catering Accommodation – Sleeps up to 5, 3 bedrooms – £365 to £485

The Carnau Lodgings is a 400 year old converted barn which stands in a four and a half acre field with two pools which were specially constructed for the preservation of wild life. It is a holiday let for people who appreciate the countryside and wildlife.The Barn is fully Air Conditioned with Climate control and Bacteria and Virus removal from the recirculting air. A Porch has been added to store Wet Clothes and Shoes. see photo in Gallery. We offer free WiFi internet connections mobiles and laptops. Accommodation There are three bedrooms, two on suite, one with shower and one with bath, and the small single bedroom with a downstairs toilet. The kitchen is solid oak designed and made by the famous Prentice family. It is is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge. There is a lounge with television and DVD player. The accommodation is fully centrally heated, and there is also an electric fire in the lounge fireplace. Breakfast, dinner and packed lunches available if required. If you have a horse, you can bring it along, as stabling and grazing is available. Sauna and a 16 Jet Hydro-massage are now available. We are, as far as we know, the only small self catering holiday let that has these special facilities. Come and pamper yourself. Activities Golf - There are two golf courses in our area approx 6 miles apart, one in Llandrindod wells which overlooks the lake and one at Builth Wells. Walking - There are lots of walking within the area. Wye valley walk is right next to us and of course the Elan Valley is close by (where the famous Dam busters was filmed). Fishing - See the Wye and Usk Foundation web page, for the best rivers in Wales. Salmon, Wild Trout,Barbel,Roach,huge Chub.Pike. Mountain Biking - One of the most popular mountain biking routes in Wales. We have a designated area for riders, specially constructed for the Millennium - come and experience it, its a bikers dream. Bird watching - we have our own wild life reserve with many rare species.
